About The Event
In 2023, 6761 people in our community experienced homelessness on a given night. That is 8 out of every 10,000 people. While we at Black Alchemy value secure housing for all, we are faced with an ever-growing housing instability.
We believe Mutual Aid is effective in helping reduce that number, but we can't do it alone. We need your help. Let's come together to support our neighbors in need and have a great time doing it. Bring your friends, your dancing shoes, and most importantly, bring your generosity. All proceeds from this event will go towards helping a queer black artist, who wants to remain anonymous, to prevent homelessness. We have until Sept 5th to raise $3000 to help this person in need get back on stable ground.
