Fight Like a Grrrl Workshop

Join us for a self defense workshop at the Crescent Collective: RVA's Queer Community Space & Event Center, co-hosted by Body Arc: Queer Gym, and hosted by martial artists Sally Rose & Joshua Copson. 

Learn simple, efficient, effective self-defense skills. The workshop is FREE but donations are appreciated. This is a non-discriminatory safe space where all individuals are welcome regardless of gender identity or expression, citizenship, race, sexual orientation, or age (children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Our mission is to teach folx how to defend themselves and walk without fear. We will also have discussions on strategies, fears, hopes and goals. The workshop focuses on self defense techniques that are simple, efficient and effective for real life situations.

Preregistrations are first come, first served. Workshops fill up quickly! By registering, you are reserving a space.

Wear comfortable clothing and bring water & snacks if needed. Come a few minutes early to sign media & release waivers.
